Salzburg / Berchtesgaden

Today we headed out to Salzburg to spend the day and visit Berchtesgaden (Eagles Nest).  Again a great breakfast and a later start. 

In Salzburg we got a guided tour of the city. The weather was the best yet +25!!  Our guide started us at the Mirabell Garden. Very beautiful garden featuring a famous fountain found in the movie Sound of Music and path where there was "skipping". 

Afterward she led us on a tour of Salzburg. Among the highlights we were shown were Lover's Locks on the bridge - don't worry parents no locks were bought or locked. 

Also Residenzplatz, the Cathedral and Mozart's  home. 

We had done lunch and free time before we headed to Berchtesgaden. We tried to find something cultural. Some had
